What's the difference between THCa and CBD?Updated 3 months ago

Both CBD and THCa are natural cannabinoids, but they work very differently:

  • THCa (Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid) is non-psychoactive in its raw form but converts into THC when heated, delivering a traditional cannabis experience.
  • CBD (Cannabidiol) is also non-psychoactive, but it does not convert into THC and won’t produce a high. Instead, CBD is commonly used for relaxation and overall well-being.

If you're looking for a classic cannabis experience, THCa is the way to go. If you prefer non-intoxicating effects, CBD might be a better fit.
